America Recycles Day!
What is this day all about?
Every year, on November 15th, people come together to educate about the importance of recycling in different communities across the United States. People participate in: recycling collection drives are held, competitions, games, workshops and many other special events in schools, homes, offices and other places.
America Recycles day was started in 1997 and has been growing ever since that day! It is “ an initiative of Keep America Beautiful, is the only nationally recognized day and community-driven national awareness event dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States.” – www.facebook.com/AmericaRecyclesDay
